Twenty years ago, the tradition of finely crafted roads and paving maintenance with a focus on customer service began. The doors of Ramsey Asphalt opened in 1999, and since that time, our team of asphalt paving professionals has been leading the industry in quality asphalt paving services, customer care and innovation.

Our team at Ramsey Asphalt is a first-generation family owned business, and a leading asphalt contractor serving the Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Ventura Counties.

A Brief History of Ramsey Asphalt 

Scott Ramsey started Ramsey Asphalt in 1999 with a passion and love for all things asphalt. In its early years, Ramsey Asphalt catered to primarily local clientele in Santa Maria before expanding into San Luis Obispo County and Ventura County.

During the late 90’s, as the local residential and commercial community continued to grow, Ramsey Asphalt was the company of choice to help pave new roads. Over the years, Ramsey Asphalt contributed to the development of a number of new community roadways throughout Santa Maria, Santa Ynez and Santa Barbara.
