Everybody wants to seal coat your parking lot! Before committing consider this:

• Does the sealcoat product meet ASTM specifications?
• Is the sealcoat being over diluted?
• Is the proper amount of additional additives being added to the seal sufficient for the texture of your pavement?
• Is the asphalt prepared properly prior to sealcoating?
• Is a crack sealant being used to maintain structurally damaged areas?
• Will the crack filler support pedestrian and automotive traffic?
• Are cracks prepared properly before application of sealant?
• Are structural repairs (alligatored areas, potholes, overlays) being addressed or just covered over with sealcoat?
• Will service be extended long after the job is done and payment has been received?

These are important aspects to be considered when choosing an asphalt company!
